A LOOK BACK AT 2011

As 2011 is coming to an end we take a look at how traditional event design has evolved into high fashion forward design concepts at Decor With Grandeur Inc.

Couples are always looking for a way to make their wedding day stand out in the minds of their guests and set their weddings apart from all others. At Decor With Grandeur Inc. we believe in creating an experience for your guests, that’s what makes a wedding different from all others.

Bridal tables also known as head tables have adopted a fresh new image, the once two tiered head table with a large bridal party has now shifted to smaller more intimate bridal table, usually consisting of the Bride and Groom and Possibly the Maid of Honor and Best Man, gearing the focus and emphasis to the couple. Bridal tables are now adorned with candle light, crystal accessories, luxurious chairs and couture fabrics they have evolved from the mini twinkle lights and tulle to a fashion forward statement piece.

Parent tables, have also been transformed from the standard round guests tables, to formal rectangular tables with large centerpieces, and couture accessories to stand out from the guest tables, allowing the most important people to the Bride and Groom feeling glamorous as they celebrate the joining of their children lives. With a maximum seating of 14 it allows the parents to entertain their closest family and friends and anyone who has traveled overseas to participate in the joyous celebration.

Cocktail hours are no longer standing by the bar with some passed hors d’oeuvres, as part of creating that experience they have metamorphosed into lounge areas where guests have a place to mingle before and during the reception. Sleek leather furniture, monogrammed bars, live hors d’oeuvres stations, passed signature drinks are all little touches that help create an EXPERIENCE, that will leave your guests speechless.
